The biggest surprise in litigation graphics was how much of the work came down to narrative: every case has a story, but that story has to be supported by evidence. I learned to turn complex information into clear demonstratives that strengthened the argument without distracting from it—essentially, how to tell the story with the resources available, in the simplest and most effective way. It taught me to trim the fat: if something didn’t support the story, it didn’t need to be there.
